Might this be due to the EtherNAT delivering an interrupt? Does the EtherNAT have a network cable plugged in? (if so, unplug it before booting!) Other than that, it looks like the 2.2 and 2.4 kernels work. 2.6 only has the basic modes (st-high, VGA) modes supported.
