Update 1: the last version of r-base-core before the current one
(2.4.1~20061205-1) is still in the pool.

Update 2: q650, running 2.6.17-2 on a 040, does _not_ freeze when building
date.

What's the kernel version for aahz? crest runs 2.4.33. Could someone with
2.4.x and 040 try to build date? Same for 2.6.x and 060?
