Hi Santiago, at first let me thank you for all your effort to organise DebConf. Its really appreciated since I think DebConf is extremely important for Debian. Since DebConf budget is always a major item I'd like to add some remarks (which are basically inspired by treasurer which I consulted in advance).
* A maximum deficit to Debian of 10k EUR is acceptable. * To make sure we can invite people from all over the world and meet our criteria for newcomers and diversity make sure to reserve 85k EUR to be handled by the bursaries team. If you can get more funding from sponsors it would be great to add more money to this budget item. * Within the other budget positions the team is flexible to re-assign expenses, such re-assignment shall be committed to the public ledger for documentation purposes.
