Sure, I could collect the data there now, but I am not sure the effort warrants the gain for dc15. Instead of adding these data now to the dc15 budget, may I suggest that this is done for dc16, possibly even structuring the budget around them such that it can be compared to at least dc15, and then reused easily for dc17. Okay? I have some ideas here and would be motivated to work with Nigel from the dc16 team to implement this, especially if it means that next year, the budgeting and the approval process will be more streamlined. You can colour me crazy, but I think it's not unreasonable to have a first, very conservative and careful budget approved in November. That won't be the end of it, but I think it'll help the team stay ahead of the curve, which should translate into better DebConf'ing. And if a common structure and easy access to previous data help, then we'll work on that. -- .''`. martin f. krafft <madd...@debconf.org> @martinkrafft : :' : DebConf orga team `. `'` `- DebConf15: Heidelberg, Germany: http://debconf15.debconf.org DebConf16: Cape Town: https://wiki.debconf.org/wiki/DebConf16
