Notes from Monday's meeting below.
Local team status
* Keys:
- Concerned about keys for storage rooms
- Keep food storage key with food team? No, didn't work this morning.

- 1. Need to be ordered, needs money

- Norman will get money from bank (Phil may lend temporarily)
* Rules for use of hacklab
- Gunnar will take charge of compiling/advertising these
* Policing and hotels
- Police know about DebConf badges, and are friendly
- Try not to create problems
- Outside conference, good idea to carry a copy of your passport
* Rules for university
- No smoking, no alcohol -- need to advertise this
* Need more tables
* Medical clinic available during business hours
* Closing hacklab
- Should have an organiser to close/open
Power status
- Have done tests
- Need to buy more extension cords
- Hope to get more power into hacklab
- Ask regular attendees not to rearrange extensions or trail cables
around
- Have local electrician's contact for emergencies
Food status
- Food providers happy
- Now have a wiki page for volunteers to help at each mealtime
- There is now a suggestion box at the food area
Network status
- Wireless now set up in hacklab
- Configuration process seems to work now
- Old network becoming admin network
- Plan to do traffic shaping on homer, keep bandwith for video use
- Would be nice to test speed to ISP, as link seems slower than
expected
- Access to other rooms starts from Wednesday/Thursday
- Need to be careful about talk room walls etc.
Accounting/budget
- Trying to check what money transfers are still needed
- Would be nice to have public mailing list for chair authorisations
- Budget shows currently around $8000 into surplus/general Debian funds
- Hard that usual in Nicaragua to pay in advance
- For hotel, still need final numbers to sign contract
- Seminole needs paid by 13th, not in advance
- $10,000 already here for hotels
- Money meeting at 6 today?
T-shirts
- All here except video, which come Wednesday/Thursday
- Bags come on Thursday morning
Front desk
- Now exists, as does sign-up page
- Food tickets will be sold for those who don't have them yet
Fiesta on Saturday
- Concert after Debian Day
- Rent costs $300, plan 50 cordoba entrance fee
Meeting time
- Move to 12 for this week?
- Use an auditorium from Wednesday
Communication meeting
- Will take place directly after main team meeting
