Hi! We have now created a wiki page where you can volunteer to help on the Front Desk:

The front desk is in the hacklab, with cooling, electricity and network, so most of the time you can just sit at the desk and continue hacking. We expect to have a training session about 18:00 each day, so no special knowledge is required.
