Apropos LaTeX Beamer: When reading this thread I wondered whether
we should recommend LaTeX Beamer explicitely for those who wonder
how to prepare slides. Two weeks ago I was asked by someone about
help for MagicPoint (which I was using before Beamer). Honestly I think
MagicPoint is nice, but it does a really poor job in scaling on differnet
screen dimensions which is handled quite nicely by the PDF viewer you
are using with Beamer output. This was one of the main reaosons I
switched to Beamer and if it comes to slides that are perfectly readable
on different sizes I think nothing beats beamer. So I do not want to
take the freedom of choice of the presentation tool of the speakers,
but a suggestion can not hurd.

Kind regards

            Andreas.
