Hi Luca, Thanks for your input. Yes, you were right that there's another examples directory in /Applications/deal.II.app/Contents/Resources/Libraries/example <http://deal.II.app/Contents/Resources/Libraries/examples>. I tried building from there and it worked perfectly. Thank you very much.
