Joni,
Some tips: Increase the logging_level to 511. Try getting dbmail to work without LDAP first. Don't expect to be able to use dbmail-users as a full-fledged LDAP user-management tool. I never use it as such, other than to quickly dump a list of users and forwards. > Sep 24 21:28:52 mpi1 dbmail/user[21581]: Error:[db] > user_idnr_is_delivery_user_idnr(+967): error looking up user_idnr for > __@!internal_delivery_user!@__ > Sep 24 21:28:52 mpi1 dbmail/user[21581]: Error:[db] db_createmailbox(+2460): > unable to find or create sql shadow account for useridnr [10000] > Sep 24 21:28:53 mpi1 dbmail/user[21581]: Error:[auth] > auth_delete_user(+1089): sql shadow account deletion failed It looks like you didn't load sql/mysql/create_tables.mysql correctly. Or the database user doesn't have proper permissions. > dburi = > mysql://localhost:3306/dbmail?user=dbmail&password=dbmail73 there is a parameter missing: charset=utf8 > [LDAP] The ldap configuration looks ok. But it's impossible to tell if they are valid for your ldap installation. Is the dbmail.schema loaded by your ldap server? Does the cn=admin user really have full write access to the ou=users subtree? > > ==== LDAP > > > dn: ou=users,dc=security,dc=kurrola,dc=fi > objectClass: organizationalUnit > objectClass: top > ou: users I'm sorry, but that is not a LDAP configuration. It's just the base object of your users' subtree. --- ________________________________________________________________ Paul J Stevens pjstevns @ gmail, twitter, github, linkedin www.nfg.nl/i...@nfg.nl/+31.85.877.99.97 _______________________________________________ DBmail mailing list DBmail@dbmail.org http://mailman.fastxs.nl/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/dbmail
