Greetings.

I've just installed DBMail onto my desktop, and I'm doing some testing - I'm hoping to install on our server if all goes well. We're currently using courier-imap, but I'm having 'issues'.

The first snag I've hit is with attachments inside forwarded files.

Thunderbird has the option of forwarding attachments either inline or as attachments. We default to forwarding as attachments, as this preserves the entire original email, headers and all.

I've tried copying some existing email from our courier-imap folder into a DBMail folder. Everything works apart from attachments inside these forwarded emails ( which are themselves attachements, due to them being forwarded ).

For example, when I view a particular message with Thunderbird from the DBMail folder, I get the following at the bottom of the email:

--0__=45BBFA3CDF9BA1BE8f9e8a93df938690918c45BBFA3CDF9BA1BE
X-Mozilla-IMAP-Part: 2.2
Content-type: application/octet-stream; name="test.pps"
Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="test.pps"
Content-transfer-encoding: base64

This body part will be downloaded on demand.
--0__=45BBFA3CDF9BA1BE8f9e8a93df938690918c45BBFA3CDF9BA1BE--

This does not appear in the email on the courier server. The attachment ( test.pps ) which *is* visible in the attachment list on in the courier folder is not visible in the DBMail folder.

Any clues on whether this is supported / a bug / something else?

Thanks.
