Hi, Some more info. I searched the kmail mailing list archives for problems like this, but did not find anything. I assume that you can use kontact with subfolders correctly on other imap servers (I haven't tested this).
I did notice in the log file that kontact retrieves the root folders using : COMMAND: [5 LIST "" "%"] dbmail then returns all folders (including subfolders). After this command kontact asks for subfolders for all returned folders using: COMMAND: [7 LIST "" "test4/%"] Evolution retrieves the root folders with: COMMAND: [7 LSUB "" "*"] dbmail then only returns the root level folders. Probably this is where things go wrong. Dick
