Jesse, thanks for explaining the IMAP situation. That
makes sense now.

With the other Postfix issue, if I don't include any
of my virtual domains anywhere in the main.cf and just
have the transport map, I get stuff like this:
------------------------
Message from  yahoo.com.
Unable to deliver message to the following
address(es).

<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
mail.server.tld does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 554 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:
Recipient address rejected:
Relay access denied
Giving up on mail.server.tld

my Postfix mail log gives me this:
------------------------------------
Feb 17 17:30:41 postfix/smtpd[16037]: reject: RCPT
from web21411.mail.yahoo.com[216.136.232.8
0]: 554 <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: Recipient address
rejected: Relay access denied;
from=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]
> to=<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

This is what my transport map entry looks like in
main.cf:

transport_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/transport

This is what the transport file looks like

virtualdomain.com dbmail:
virtualdomain2.com dbmail:
virtualdomain3.com dbmail:

How did you get yours to work without any
virtualdomain entries? Did you turn relay on?
