Hi Marc,
If you are trying to use sendmail as your MTA, I have some notes online at 
http://www.helgrim.com/dbmaildocs/installation.html - These were started, but 
never finished so they may not work too well for you.

Basically you need to define dbmail as a "mailer" which sendmail can use. I 
have a mailer definition done for sendmail which is at 
http://www.helgrim.com/dbmaildocs/files/dbmail-m4 which you will need to 
download and compile into sendmail.

You can then use the mailertable to specify that all mail for particular 
domains are to be delivered with the dbmail mailer, instead of the default 
local delivery.
