When using postfix, using lmtp is as easy as this: add: dbmail-lmtp unix - - n - - lmtp to master.cf (the last part: Interfaces to non-postfix software and add: yourdomain dbmail-lmtp:localhost:24 Make sure that dbmail-lmtp runs on port 24 of course.
