We once wrote a program to insert 10 Gb of mail into dbmail. The
program did this in about 50 minutes.
What database are you going to use?

I found the previously posted code from Mark Mackay
(mbox2dbmail-fast.c) which inserts mail by direct database operations
and it works a lot faster. I have made some improvements to it, which
