I have put an updated version of Moisio Juha's out-of-office patch in my
unapplied-patches/unfixed bugs directory:

This version handles multiple vacation records for each user, only sending
mail once for each user for each vacation. It also executes later in the
delivery cycle so that we know the real delivery user-id. I have also
changed the table names & structure (everything has an ID, tables now
called VACATIONS & VACATIONS_LOG), since I don't want to pre-empt a real
filter system in the future. Since aliases can go quite deep, and a user
may have many, each vacation entry must also have a 'from-address' field to
allow a reasonable 'from' field to be set.
Any chance of some/all of these patches being applied some time?
