Both cases: The folder opens but the pictures doesn t finish opening. they stay " processing" So, as I can´ t work, I close Darktable. But that pictures, continue processing and Darktable closes in a wrong way. It stays opened background.After that, I try to open Darktable and I can´t. It appers the message to delete that LOCK files. I delete them and the same story. Can you go to your pictures in Windows Explorer, then right click on just one picture and try opening it with darktable? What file format are the pictures (cr2, jpg, tif, ?)? Import folder, at the top left , and open folder. But pictures doesn t finish opening. How many pictures? How long do you wait? The folders have several pictures, 8, 10, 2. But I import the folder and the pictures don t open... "processing"..... That processing could last hours. That never happened. The pictures always loaded inmediatly. I What I can t understand, is that I uninstalled and re intsalled a new version, and the same problem. Yesterday I was 2 hours with the Microsoft technitian but windows is ok. We can ´t find the solution and told me that the program has a failure. But I don´t understand because for months I didn´t have any problem. Can you think back to what has changed since the last time it worked? Different camera, different hardware? It was suddenly. I do not think darktable will not continue until you make a choice. The lua scripts installer simply offers you an easy way to install the lua scripts. If you don't want to install them, and don't want to see the installer again, select "don't show this again" and click the button You could also just minimize it and continue using darktable.
