Dear Dennis,

I am born in Wiesbaden and still live not that far away from you, in Wetterau Region.

sorry for stenographic reply, I am very much under time pressure these days...

a)
copy crop and rotate makes perfect sense for my workflow (timelapse), sory to say, but have some good news for you later

b)
if you have a feature request, ideally place it here:
https://github.com/darktable-org/darktable/issues

c)
I suggest you copy via lighttable, there you can select, which modules will be copied

I will PM you in parallel :-)

Very best Regards
 Axel

Hello everyone,
I am Dennis Gräser, an enthusiastic photographer from Wiesbaden, Germany.
Some years ago I changed my photo workflow completely to Linux and thus Darktable and GIMP. I am more than satisfied and deeply excited about what open source software has to offer. I would like to thank everyone who develops this fine piece of software and keeps it alive.
You enrich me incredibly with your work. THANK YOU.
I am writing to you to ask if a small change could be made in the software:
Copying editing steps is very helpful, especially with similarly exposed images. However, by default the crop module is always copied as well. This doesn't make much sense, since a cropping has to be done by hand again and again anyway. In the next version of Darktable, could you make sure that copying editing steps via CTRL+C and CTRL+V copies everything like before, except the cropping of images? This small detail would make the work even more efficient and should be easy to implement, I would assume.
I am available for further explanations, of course!
I thank you for your efforts and support!

Best regards from Germany,
Dennis
