Hello everyone,
I am Dennis Gräser, an enthusiastic photographer from Wiesbaden, Germany.
Some years ago I changed my photo workflow completely to Linux and thus
Darktable and GIMP.
I am more than satisfied and deeply excited about what open source software has
to offer.
I would like to thank everyone who develops this fine piece of software and
keeps it alive.
You enrich me incredibly with your work. THANK YOU.
I am writing to you to ask if a small change could be made in the software:
Copying editing steps is very helpful, especially with similarly exposed
images. However, by default the crop module is always copied as well. This
doesn't make much sense, since a cropping has to be done by hand again and
again anyway.
In the next version of Darktable, could you make sure that copying editing
steps via CTRL+C and CTRL+V copies everything like before, except the cropping
of images?
This small detail would make the work even more efficient and should be easy to
implement, I would assume.
I am available for further explanations, of course!
I thank you for your efforts and support!

Best regards from Germany,
Dennis
