Hi folks, when a reporter uses email I believe more devs in the wide world need to be prepared to communicate over it.
Maybe instead of saying "you should report this [at Microsoft Github]". Say "I've copied this to [Microsoft Github]". I fully understand "collateral freedom", but I personally feel that the OS community is leaning too much on this crutch. We need to be mindful that not all people will want to expose themselves to Microsoft. Please be mindful that when someone says you should go on Microsoft Github, it can come across as, "I hope you have a Facebook account. Go to this Facebook group and post your problem there." On a related note, about a month ago I posted bugs and proposals to improve the UX/UI. If you've worked on any of those feel free to get back to me on progress. Its always nice to know that ones volunteering is having a difference. FOSS development can be very dry and thankless. If you wish to spare the entire list from getting the email, feel free to email me directly. I look forward to hearing from you. Stay well all.
