Hi DT Developers et al!

So if one primarily uses base curve one should use the legacy module
pixelpipe ("display-referred") and use "scene-referred" if one uses
filmic?

Any chance someone to give a high-level overview of the difference
between "Linear" modules, used with the filmic pixelpipe
(scene-referred), and "Lab" modules used with base curve pixelpipe
(display-referred)?

In other words, is there a distinct disadvantage to using the
scene-referred pixelpipe with base curve and not filmic?

The reason is I'm still trying to learn filmic, but sometimes when I
just want to knock something out quickly I'll use base curve. So I
would like to leave the preferences set at the scene-referred
pixelpipe but occasionally use base curve rather than filmic.
Thoughts?

And thanks--so much--for a great RAW developer! Darktable just keeps
getting better and better!

Bob
