yes, they are not relevant to the "film strip" and are not tied to it. 
but they both exist within the bottom panel.  if you believe they would
be better located, why, instead of just saying it is wrong, don't you
suggest "that better location"?

instead of saying something would be better in a different manner, suggest
the better manner so your suggestions can be followed.
