Hi, The problem seems to be with the installation itself in some machines. I was able to install successfully in another system. In the machine with the problem the program really never executes, the error appears in the process of starting the program. The same with darktable-cli.exe, it gives the error message and it does not even reach the point in which the help string is printed. Since there was mention in the web that the error may be related to the registry I tried reinstalling with the anti-virus software disabled (in case it was blocking some system adjustment) to no avail. I inspected also the registry but I really could not find a difference (not that I know what to look for).
