Hello All,

Hi.

I would appreciate any helpful advice as to what is needed for this camera
to be supported by DT.

Try starting darktable like that:

darktable -d control | grep noiseprofile

and see if that mentions your camera. Or any at all.

Nothing found, so it would seem that my local changes to the 'noiseprofile.json' file have not been used in the build.
Probably a result of my lack of knowledge of how to use a git repo.
Perhaps some homework needed on that front :-)

That looks like a broken version string reported by darktable. What is the
output of

     darktable --version

?

[terry@localhost ~]$ darktable --version
this is darktable darktable-2.1.0-0.4.20160517.fc23
copyright (c) 2009-2015 johannes hanika
darktable-dev@lists.darktable.org

compile options:
  normal build
  OpenMP support enabled
  OpenCL support enabled
  Lua support disabled
  Colord support enabled
  gPhoto2 support enabled
  GraphicsMagick support enabled

Note, I build my own DT Fedora rpm's.

Cheers,
