Hello, I would like to suggest some ideas (mostly taken to Lightroom) for the lighttable to enhance the DT editing workflow :
* the ability to hide/display selectively some file formats on the current collection (TIFF/JPEG/PNG/RAW) or at least RAW files vs. edited files, * an editing queue as a sort of meta-collection sortable by the date of the pictures, by the source collection or by the date of addition to the queue, * the ability to hide/display the lighttable modules (just as in the darkroom view), * a module to compute ICC color profiles with Argyll CMS and color charts as described by Pascal : https://encrypted.pcode.nl/blog/2010/06/28/darktable-camera-color-profiling/ * a module to combine several images into a single one (like this : https://www.flickr.com/photos/aurelienpierre/22287252724/in/dateposted-public/) the same way as ImageMagick <http://www.imagemagick.org/script/montage.php>montage, * a side-by-side/overlay comparator to compare 2 pictures (like the snapshots module in the darkroom), * the ability to apply custom flags on the pictures (like "to print", "to check later", "to send", "to upload", "to delete" etc.) : flags should have editable colors and text fields. Thanks for your work ! -- *Aurélien PIERRE* aurelienpierre.com <http://aurelienpierre.com> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ___________________________________________________________________________ darktable developer mailing list to unsubscribe send a mail to darktable-dev+unsubscr...@lists.darktable.org
