Hello

As a person, who had to click the button 50+ times I would prefer having an untranslated string :).

Hi,

Does the dialog message say: "could not send some_file_name to trash:
operation not supported" or something else? The part after the ":" is
the part that I'm interested in... It should be something like
"operation not supported".

To correct this, I see a few options:
  1) Add a button to the dialog to tell it to delete everything.
  2) The function g_file_trash() should return G_IO_ERROR_NOT_SUPPORTED
in this case so we could automatically delete the file in this case.
But it's probably not a good idea...

Since we are in "string freeze", can we do #1?
Depends, if the alternative is a totally unusable feature a single
untranslated string is less bad I guess.

Thanks,

Guillaume

So, here are the particulars. If files are located on ext4, they are sent
to trash without problems. If files are located at ntfs partition,
mounted at boot, darktable cannot send them to trash. So as there is no
checkbox or button to delete all further files physically, one has to
click the button as many times, as there are files to delete. That is
rather hard.

Latest builds from git brought a bug - dt cannot send to trash and ask
for physical deletion for each file from the selection.
