- Packaging looks good FWICS. - "man urxvt" looks good. - Installed from local disk on this machine with no unusual issues. - This machine is running: CYGWIN_NT-5.1 SICKLG1-D1 1.5.20s(0.155/4/2) 20060421 11:11:15 i686 Cygwin - Appears to run pretty much normally here: - I'm starting a bash session successfully in it with the following command line from current rxvt: urxvt -sr -sl 1000 -e /usr/bin/bash --login -i - Cut and paste works. The above "uname -a" string was pasted into Outlook from a copy from the urxvt window. Pasting things into the terminal also works. Bonus: It shows the proper "I" text selection cursor instead of the same pointer that the current rxvt - Colors appear to work, at least to the extent "ls --color" uses them. - The escape codes in my $PS1 () all work fine. - ncurses appears to work fine with it, to the extent that mutt uses it. - It doesn't like "-fn "Lucida Console-14"", which I've been using with the current rxvt for ages, for whatever reason. Message is "urxvt: unable to load base fontset, please specify a valid one using -fn, aborting.". However, I see that if I try to run another instance of current rxvt from the urxvt session, ala: rxvt -sr -sl 1000 -fn "Lucida Console-14" -e /usr/bin/bash --login -i ...i get a similar error. So this must be a configuration error on my part, not a urxvt-X error. I give it a GTG, and will probably switch to it as my primary terminal to give it more "in the wild"-type testing. -- Gary R.
