ISTR a suggestion on the list a while ago to create an empty file and call it libm.a. It has since been superceded by the empty archive one, and now a non-empty libm.a is actually part of the Cygwin package. Could you please verify that you're linking against /usr/lib/libm.a, and that it's not an empty file? On my system (cygwin-1.3.22-1): $ ls -l /usr/lib/libm.a -rwxrwxrwx+ 1 Administ Users 218298 Mar 18 09:21 /usr/lib/libm.a Hope this helps, Igor -- http://cs.nyu.edu/~pechtcha/ |\ _,,,---,,_ [EMAIL PROTECTED] ZZZzz /,`.-'`' -. ;-;;,_ [EMAIL PROTECTED] |,4- ) )-,_. ,\ ( `'-' Igor Pechtchanski, Ph.D. '---''(_/--' `-'\_) fL a.k.a JaguaR-R-R-r-r-r-.-.-.
