Well, the need really originates from making a program called xmaxima interface with a script maxima. xmaxima is a tcl program that is looking for a maxima.exe but in clisp maxima there is only a maxima sh script that xmaxima cannot evoke. I tried to make a .bat file that calls the bash script but it does not work.
