Given that updating to Cygwin 3.6 broke LOTS of scripts and
applications here, and therefore seems to be MONTHS away from being
usable, it'll be nice to put fac7441835b00d3b9a8252538bcf54c441c3841e
on the 3.5-branch and make a Cygwin 3.5.8 release.

Are all sparse file fixes in MAIN available in the cygwin-3_5-branch

which seems to be still missing

Will stay missing in the 3.5 branch.

That would leave the 3.5-branch with BROKEN sparse file support

Next release will be 3.6.0.

Well, lots of stuff does not work on 3.6 yet, so I am not sure whether
a 3.5.8 with fac7441835b00d3b9a8252538bcf54c441c3841e might be better
