Congratulation! You did it! As you can see from the attached logfile ( cygwin-time-lag.txt <http://cygwin.1069669.n5.nabble.com/file/n120626/cygwin-time-lag.txt> ) the time lag went away after replacing cygwin1.dll with the 20150817 snapshot.
