Jason, I am sorry that my message seemed insistent to you. That was certainly not intended. I posted out of complete ignorance of how Python was updated in the Cygwin distribution--by whom, under what circumstances, schedule, etc. I appreciate your generous efforts and am very thankful for Python's inclusion in the Cygwin distribution.
