FreeBSD ports repository
Modified files:
x11/gdm Makefile
Log:
Add a hack to fix a lot of hardcore paths of /usr/X11R6 to fix the
problem for
users that do not have symlink of /usr/X11R6 -> /usr/local when
they have gdm
enable in the startup. Bump the PORTREVISION.
Reported by: Werner Lehmann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
FYI NOP changes like this shouldn't get PORTREVISION bumps.
It needs to be bump for the package and other users that do not have
symlink of /usr/X11R6 -> /usr/local. I do not want to do it by manual
or
add in UPDATING for tell them to reinstall it.
Why don't they have the symlink?
To answer this question that I have skipped it. Because he has installed
it on the clean system.
Cheers,
Mezz
I didn't think we were supporting such
a configuration yet.
The symlink covers any real bug. I am glad that he doesn't has symlink
when he reported it to me. I do support this configuration and I am
willing to fix it unless binary forces me to tell them to do the symlink.
Cheers,
Mezz
Joe
