Hello, I have put together a photo collection based on the tutorial in "More Eric Meyer on CSS." So it should work, right? Well it does in Safari 3.0 and Firefox 2.0(mac) but in IE6 the padding seems to be off. The individual divs for each image are behaving correctly but the images inside each div are off center to the left while the titles for each image (in the same div) are off center to the right. Actually, the title problem shows up in all browsers - i just used a negative left margin to center it - but even that doesn't work in IE. Is it my math or IE weirdness?
Here are the relevant links: http://www.newmoonfarm.net/albumFarm.html http://www.newmoonfarm.net/CssFiles/nmf08.css And a little problem with FireFox: On this page: http://www.newmoonfarm.net/Farm-pages/Image2.html I have arrow gifs used as background images in paragraph tags. Safari and Explorer (even IE5mac) expand the block to encompass the gifs but Firefox does not. I've had to add a bunch of nbsp's to get the gifs to show. What am I doing wrong here? The styles for these pages are labeled Photo Album styles on the style sheet. Thank you all so much for being willing to help beginners like me.
