The past weeks are really annoying...
Everyday and sometimes every few hours -> 'gamesession not available'
and that sucks hard. I thought it will be better if the holiday sale
stops, but it is still there.
Pls Valve, find a solution for this problem. Like a 'heartbeat' to
steamservers or so... try something new. if the new way wont run, test
another way. But pls do anything to help us enjoying beeing a server-admin.
Thx!

There has not been one instance in 12+ months where any of our servers

their own. They ALWAYS require a restart.

Ics,
I wish I could say we were seeing the same behavior, but our
servers remain
unconnectable until they enter/exit hibernation or restart.
Restarting the
servers manually is not feasible for us when there's 20+ servers
to manage,
hence the question regarding automation (through some sort of event or
something).
We'll keep looking but thanks for the info!

Subject: Re: [Csgo_servers] Steam Community outage leads to
unconnectable
servers
There is some fallback system in place. The servers will try
asynchronously
connect back to Steam on random intervals (TF2 atleast) and it
seems CSGO
servers do the same thing. Yesterday folks were getting the error
"Failed to
join session. Session is full" even though the server had slots
free. So
steam "lobby" went down and no one was able to connect in during
steam was
down. It seems to have balanced itself later on. Quickest way
still is to
restart the servers once everything works at Valve's end again.
