Sorry for the slow reply - a lot of us were at the OpenStack summit
last week and are still catching up on email backlog and jet lag.

As per the recent announcement from Dell:

  http://lists.us.dell.com/pipermail/crowbar/2014-May/004560.html

and discussion on yesterday's community call:

  http://pad.opencrowbar.org/p/community-planning-meeting-2014-05-21

(if I may risk speaking on behalf of Dell), Dell employees can now
only officially support Crowbar for their existing customers. Any
other support from Dell employees will be on a best effort basis in
their spare time, and AFAIK they are mostly dedicating that spare time
towards the next generation codebase ("OpenCrowbar").

Here at SUSE we approach Crowbar installation in a significantly
different way, typically via an add-on .iso containing Crowbar
packages built for SLES11 SP3. So unfortunately we cannot help you
with the above problem.

However, if you were willing to try SUSE Cloud 3 which is based on the
Crowbar roxy release and OpenStack's Havana release, then we would be
glad to help with any issues you may encounter - although this is an
enterprise product so hopefully you should find it well polished and
with minimal issues :-)

Of course SUSE Cloud 3 is fully F/OSS, and the software is available
to download for free evaluations. One very easy way to get started is
by using this appliance:

  https://susestudio.com/a/Mrr6vv/suse-cloud-3-admin-embedded

Another way is to use the Vagrant boxes which I prepared for the HA
workshop in Atlanta last week:

  https://github.com/aspiers/openstacksummit2014-atlanta/blob/master/README.md

I am currently uploading the Vagrant boxes which were used, so
hopefully they will be available in the next few days (or even hours).
At that point, bootstrapping a SUSE Cloud 3 install should be as
simple as cloning the git repo and then doing "vagrant up".

The Vagrant boxes contain the latest development code with full HA
support. The SUSE Studio embedded appliance does not yet, but
probably will soon.

It is also possible to build the Vagrant boxes yourself from scratch -
if you want to do that, let us know and we can assist you.

Regards,
Adam
