When do you estimate we will reach 8? It's really a pain for us to be
waiting; it makes it difficult for us to work on making the OpenStack
barclamps behave correctly on SLES. For instance, if we want to play
with the cinder barclamp, we need to take the keystone/glance/cinder
database pull requests (and I'm fine with this -- I understand we need
to switch all barclamps at the same time), then possibly additional pull
requests that make keystone and glance work on SLES, and then we can do
stuff on cinder. (Imagine it goes for nova ;-))

This might be a stupid question, but why not create the Dell OpenStack
branch now, and cherry-pick database + Victor's patches when they land
in the community branch?
