thanks for your responses, I have still been unsuccessful at installing Crowbar however I was able to get base Ubuntu 12.04-server installed without a problem.
I think I need to understand the Crowbar install process a little more in depth, I have built the iso from all versions of Crowbar with no success. I have been unsuccessful at finding documentation on the Crowbar iso and modifying it, for example if I want to modify the default hard drive partition schema, if anyone can point me in the direction of those docs that would be awesome, meanwhile I am going to start digging through the build_crowbar.sh script.
