Hi @dfuch - What is proposed here is that java.util.logging.LoggingMXBean should be marked for removal. Having both PlatformLoggingMXBean and LoggingMXBean in existence is confusing. Actual removal is not trivial, as yes the "new" PlatformLoggingMXBean is dependent on the existing LoggingMXBean implementation.
