The series of four national conferences on the topic of new standards and passive climate storage finished with a well attended event in Dublin last week. We'd like to thank greatly our partner hosts and organisers at The National Archives, MALD and the National Library of Wales, National Galleries Scotland and the National Gallery of Ireland, and our sponsors Bruynzeel Storage Systems, and Storage Systems Ireland, for making these events possible, the many speakers for their presentations and the positive support and engagement of the nearly 500 delegates that we reached. We hope the message about passive and low energy storage and display of collections, and the role of the new EN and BS standards in promoting this approach, has been helpfully debated and explored and will begin to transform how we all manage our archives, libraries and museums.
