Hello Big Matt, Somehow I was able to log on as no password was needed but as you can see from the photos there is no way I could change the screen resolution by r/clicking on the Desktop. So I booted into Safe Mode but the screen resolution was already set to it's lowest setting of 800 x 600 so that didn't help. I then booted into VGA Mode. When the Desktop appeared a pop-up stated that the screen resolution was low and asked if I wanted it automatically reset and I clicked yes. But the problem persisted when I logged on in normal mode. I again booted into safe mode and tried to uninstall the display adapter drivers by r/ clicking on Desktop and selecting Properties - Settings tab – Advanced button – Monitor tab – Properties button – Driver tab, but that did not work. I then tried r/clicking on My Computer in the Start Menu selecting Properties – Hardware – Device Manager and opening Display adapter box. Here I was able to uninstall the driver. Upon reboot a dialog box appeared stating that new hardware had been found and would I insert a CD for the driver, which I did. My new monitor is working fine now although at a lower than optimal resolution. I will eventually get a better graphics card or a new PC.
