(Dutch has the nice property that we can glue words together to create new ones.) The translation of "steen" is "Stone". "Vreter" is more difficult. "vreten" is a kind of rude form of eating, like an animal. I don't really know an accurate translation, maybe something like "devourer"? It would have been accurate for "Steeneter", but coming from "Steenvreter" the implied lack of etiquette is lost in translation.
