Hello, How many simulations per move in the 2300 version? I think you older
version did about 70,000, and your weaker versions do 3000, 5000, or 10000.
The weaker versions on CGOS do as you say 3000, 5000 or 10000 (named 3k, 5k, 10k) simulations per move. The results I sometimes post with 70000 simulations per move are the ones I do against gnugo on "private" experiments (not on CGOS or kgs) (this 70000 simulations per move is about 15s per move on a mono processor). The best versions of MoGo on CGOS play on a 4 processor computer, and make about 400000 simulations per move for the first moves, and much less at the end of the game (I do not have the log files anymore, I can't check exactly).
