I don't know either.  I assumed William Shubert tries to keep them in
line with actual ratings but I can't say if they are off.    Of course
you realize that people will say ratings are "off" even if they are
close.   The human mind finds patterns where there are none.      

Of course they may really be off.  I just don't know.

We could start with GnuGo's rating at 19x19 pretend it's accurate for
9x9, but I'm sure most programs are better relative to humans at smaller
boards.

I cannot find gnugo on kgs - there is no way that I can find to do
partial searches on user names and I don't know the exact name of any
gnugo bots.
