Following DanielLeens's suggested Option A for the DATE composite-key
coverage. I added `JdbcMysqlSplitIT#testCompositeKeyWithDateColumn` on commit
`ea4e9cada` (new head `ea4e9cada...`): the fixture uses `(order_id BIGINT,
event_date DATE)` with repeated numeric leading keys and 300 rows, then runs
every generated split and asserts all expected `(order_id,event_date)` keys are
read exactly once with no missing/duplicate rows.

Official MySQL Testcontainers E2E result: `Tests run: 1, Failures: 0,
Errors: 0, Skipped: 0`; full source reactor `BUILD SUCCESS`; JDBC E2E Spotless
and `git diff --check` passed. The test is in the JDBC E2E part-7 MySQL lane.
No production code, option behavior, or checkpoint format changed. The push
will trigger a fresh required Build; I will report that result separately and
am not treating the previous head's green Build as acceptance for this new head.
