Classification: F / Connector ecosystem tracker and active implementation lanes. Please keep this tracker separate from #10753. This issue tracks the database-storage connector matrix and the CockroachDB/Couchbase decisions; #10753 is the broader external-source backlog. Cross-linking them is useful, but consolidating them would blur the ownership and compatibility evidence recorded here. The two new implementation lanes are now explicit: #12828 for the focused CockroachDB JDBC dialect and #12829 for the bounded Couchbase source. Both are currently open, require review, and have failing Build checks, so they should remain recorded as open PRs rather than completed work. Please address the build failures in their PRs and keep follow-up discussion there. The remaining tracker rows should retain the evidence gates already documented here, especially the real-endpoint compatibility matrix before any DocumentDB sink work.
