The failure mode is quite specific: ip-api answers rate limiting with HTTP 429 and a non-empty body (`HTTP 429: too many requests`), which passed the old `-z` check and was then compared against `CN` — flipping exactly the networks that need the Aliyun mirrors onto the default sources. With `-f` plus the two-letter-uppercase validation, that body is now treated as a probe failure and the google-reachability fallback runs instead. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
