This issue was reviewed as part of the JIRA-migrated backlog triage. Findings: this is a tracking task (JIRA HUDI-9300, created 2025-04-10, under epic HUDI-4394 'Data skipping in Presto/Trino') for adding expression support to the presto-hudi connector. The connector implementation lives in the prestodb/presto repository (presto-hudi module), and a check of that module shows no expression-pushdown or plan-optimizer support yet, and no merged PRs for it. The work has not started and there is no PR in flight in either repository. Keeping this open as a roadmap item; contributions would land in prestodb/presto with this ticket tracking the effort on the Hudi side. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
