Hi @yuqi1129, I'd like to contribute to **#13733 — Remove TreeLock from external-catalog entities and their lifecycle** and would appreciate the opportunity to take ownership of a well-defined part of this task. I've been going through the issue description and understand that removing `TreeLock` needs to preserve concurrency correctness, particularly around entity-cache publication, identity-fenced updates and deletes, and catalog/metalake lifecycle operations. I'd like to start by investigating the entity-cache race described in the first item, identify the appropriate fix, and add a regression test that covers the concurrent delete/cache-publication scenario. I can then work through the relevant tests and validation before submitting a focused PR. Would you be comfortable assigning me this issue, or would you prefer that I first take up the cache-race fix as a smaller, independently reviewable contribution?
