I have checked the fixes between 1.2.9 -> 1.2.12 for the logback and found no
suspicious updates for us.

[~e.dimitrova] would you mind running the full CI to make sure that our
exclusion doesn't cause any errors? I think this is the last thing we have to
check before going further.
